Kings Island Trip

On August 2nd, the Marching Arabians, and Middle School Band Students, will be given the opportunity to take a trip to Kings Island. This is an optional trip, and will cost students $41 to go. Parents and siblings may go as well as long as there is room on the bus, and will be required to pay $41 as well. Kings Island also offers an unlimited drinks wrist band for $10. If your student is wishing to go on the trip, please fill out the form and return it WITH money before Wednesday July 30th.

The SMCS Band Boosters are participating in a program offered by Meijer. We are now enrolled in Meijer Community RewardsSM. The Meijer 1 CardSM is a non-financial card (NOT A CREDIT CARD) that should be used with cash or a PIN-based debit card to link your purchases to our Meijer Community RewardsSM account. Meijer Community RewardsSM allows us to raise funds to meet our organization’s goals quickly and easily. For all of your purchases, the Boosters will receive 1/2% in rewards! To date, the SMCS Boosters have received $215.47 from just a few members being enrolled and using their cards! Simply download the attached letter which gives all of the details on how you can support the Band program just by shopping at Meijer!

My Music Office.... for all of your Account Information Needs!

As we draw closer to the end of the school year, and to the beginning of the next one, many parents start asking "Where can I find out how much I still owe for this year?" among many other questions. Well the answer is mymusicoffice.com! At the beginning of the year, all students in the band and guard program were given a My Music Office account, along with a login and password. Use that information to login to your student's account and from there, you will be able to see your students account balance and also be able to make sure all contact information is up to date. Marching Band 2014 Information

Information for the 2014 Marching Arabians season has been released. An information packet, tentative schedule, and commitment form can be found below. Anyone who is interested in joining the Marching Arabians for the 2014 season, should turn in the commitment form by April 18th, along with the $50 deposit. Its going to be a great season this year, with a very interesting show concept, which I can't disclose just yet... spoilers.
