The South Madison Schools Band Booster Association is an incorporated, non-profit, tax-exempt organization. It is the parental portion and behind-the-scenes backbone of our children's band activities. We endeavor to provide comfort, sustenance, emergency supplies and service to the band during any of their performances.
You do not sign up to be a member and there are no dues for Band Boosters. All parents and guardians of all students involved in the Concert Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion, Jazz Band, and Pep Band are automatically members.
Band Boosters meet every month on the third Monday at 7:00pm in the PHHS Band Room. At these meetings, you receive information from the board and directors, hear committee reports, receive financial updates, and have an opportunity to take an active part in band activities. If you can't attend a meeting, please check your band newsletter for current events and activities. When volunteers are needed, the contact person's name and number are listed in the newsletter or website.
Sometimes new parents believe the Band Booster's work is mostly finished at the end of the marching season. We need your help just as much in the second and third trimesters also. PHHS Band Boosters are vital to the operation of the band program.
The program's success depends on parental commitment, time and resources. Our director and assistants are dedicated, talented, hardworking teachers and mentors but they need our help and support, as do our young musicians.
Everyone is welcome!! So come out and participate whenever possible. Even if your time is limited. Whose isn't?? There are numerous ways in which you can make the band program better! Your talents and abilities are needed. Please get involved.
Together we can make it happen! And you will get to know your child's friends and their parents while you support a super activity for your child - instrumental and visual performers.

The Band Booster staff and members welcome your comments and/or questions, but most of all welcome and encourage your participation in the organization. The Band Boosters sponsor several fundraisers throughout the year and will need the help of all band members' parents to make each fund raiser successful.
