CONGRATULATIONS MARCHING ARABIANS
ON A TRULY GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!!
What an exciting day!! We are so proud of all of our students and all of your hard work! Please read through carefully as this win has added a few things to our schedule. 
Reminder Items:
- Letterman Jackets – Final payments due November 8th.

- Please invite all your family and friends to watch the Marching Arabians perform “From Dusk Till Dawn” at home one final time!

- We will be serving students a “Breakfast of Champions” on November 9th before we depart and we need some help! Here is what you can do to help that day:
- Make posters: We would love to have a poster for each student made by their families to hang in the cafeteria for their traditional “Breakfast of Champions” that morning.We would like them turned in by November 2nd if at all possible so that we can touch base with the parents of the students we don’t have posters for and also to make sure everyone has a poster. You could also make section posters as well if you are feeling extra crafty. If you would like, you can also bring photos of your kiddo and make them at the school the morning of Nov 2nd during practice. The Band Boosters are hosting the Holiday Bazaar that same day so come shop after making your posters!
- Donate towards breakfast: Payments can be made via Venmo to @SMCSCBandBoosters or by cash/check put in the black box in the band room. Be sure to put “Breakfast of Champions” in the memo section.
- SHOW UP! We all did such a great send off for semi-state that it will be hard to top it but lets give it a try! Please gather as many family members and friends as possible to line the parking lot to cheer on the Marching Arabians as they depart for State Finals at 12:10pm! (We will know more about their exact route through town next week) Feel free to bring posters and noise makers too!PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!

- If you are needing a show shirt or hoodie, please email me at phbandmarching@gmail.com as I still have a few extras for sale. First come, first served. Shirts are $16 and hoodies are $26.

- PARENTS OF 2ND YEAR MARCHERS: Please check this list and let me know if your student’s name is spelled correctly. If you believe your child’s name should be on this list and it is not, please email me at phbandmarching@gmail.com.
An Extra Special Thank You To:
- Rachel and Wayne Blosser for printing and putting names on all the green “lollipop” signs in front of the school for our marchers.
- Kelly Ploughe for single-handedly sewing ALL the buttons and chains on our new show uniform shirts.
- Dennis and Kristin Wallen for putting countless hours in this past week on props.
- Nicole Walker for creating vampire rubber ducks for the spirit item this week.
- Billie Killion for donating a semi-state banner.
- Everyone who pitched in with painting, props, uniforms, chaperoning, posters, food, and all of the other big and little things that go into preparing this large group for competition!
It takes a village, and this marching band definitely has one!
