CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MARCHING ARABIANS ON AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE AT BANDS OF AMERICA!!
We Could Not Be Prouder of You!!!
Here are a few reminders and a list of some of the things we have coming up:
- PHOTOS – Marching Band Photos and Buttons are in! If you have not already picked up your photos I will have them available at the Beats & Treats table on Thursday evening.
- SPIRIT – The Spirit Team is collecting Crazy Socks for the band’s Spirit Bags for Semi-State! This is a fun tradition the kids really look forward to. Socks can be dropped off at the high school on Thursday after practice. Thanks!
- BEATS & TREATS – We have LOVED seeing additional parents in the stands on Thursday evenings! The kids feed off the energy in the stands and it is visible in their performance (even at practice). Come out any time in the last hour of practice and help hype up the band before their Semi-State performance!!
- SEMI-STATE POSTERS – We will be making posters in the band hallway ahead of Semi-State. Please join us at 6pm on Tuesday 10/28 if you are available! Poster boards and markers will be provided but please feel free to bring any additional supplies you would like to use.You can make signs at home and put them up on State Street, but please don’t use anything that would damage the town’s light posts (no duct tape, etc.)
- LOLLIPOPS – The Boosters have put out lollipops with each band member’s name outside the band entrance at the high school. Students – please do not remove your lollipop as these are reused each year.
- SEMI-STATE SEND-OFF –
- The Marching Arabians will be departing PHHS at 10:30 am next Saturday, November 1st for Semi-State.
- We would like to have all parents, grandparents, alumni, and the community come out and give them an amazing send-off out of the parking lot and through town.
- We will start gathering around 10:00 am.
- Please feel free to bring posters and noise makers
- PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!
- If you are needing a show shirt please let me know as I still have a few extras for sale.
