Congratulation to the Marching Arabians on an AMAZING performance at the Bands of America Super Regional on Friday! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!
Coming Up:
- October 20th – Fall Band Concerts @ 6pm and 7pm
- October 22nd – Semi-State Poster Party We will be making posters in the band hallway ahead of Semi-State. Please join us at 6pm if you are available! We would like to have a poster for each section to display during send off. Posters, markers and some supplies will be provided but please feel free to bring any additional supplies you would like to use.
- **You can make signs at home and put them up on State Street, but please do not use anything that would damage the town’s light posts (no duct tape etc.)**
- October 22nd – Beats and Treats. It has been so great seeing so many parents on Thursday nights! The kids feed off the energy in the stands and it is visible in their performance (even at practice). Come out from 7:30-8:30pm and let’s hype up the band before their Semi-State performance!!
- **Buttons and Magnets from the first photo order are in – if you have not already picked them up I will have them at the Beats and Treats table on Thursday**
- October 24th – ISSMA Semi-State

- Competition days take a lot of volunteers to make it all come together, which means we need YOU! Pleaseclick here to sign up to volunteer at one or more of the upcoming competitions.
- Feeding this many students and staff also requires a lot of help! Please click hereto donate towards dinner for the Marching Arabians.
- Semi-State Send Off
- The Marching Arabians will be departing PHHS at 3:30pm on Saturday, October 24th for Semi-State
- We would LOVE to have all parents, grandparents, alumni and the community come out and give them an AMAZING send-off out of the parking lot and through town.
- We will start gathering around 3:00pm
- Please feel free to bring posters and noise makers

- Letterman Jackets – Ordering for Letterman jackets is now open. Order form & deposit due by Oct. 23rd. A $100 deposit must be placed with order. Please click here to order.
- To order a jacket you must meet these two requirements:
- You must have marched a minimum of two years (including this year) to earn a letter and qualify to order a letter jacket.
- Your MMO Band Account must be paid in full ($0 balance due) to order.
- Jackets are available in the band room and will remain there through Oct. 23rd. Please have your student try them on over a sweatshirt to get an accurate size for winter.

- Band Calendar The best way to stay up to date on Marching Band events is to check the calendar often! The online calendar is updated regularly and can be found here
- It takes the help of many, MANY family members and friends to successfully put on each performance. With teams for props, food, bus chaperones, pit crew, spirit team & transportation (just to name a few) there is a place for everyone to pitch in and be involved. Thank you for all you do to help our students and the band program.
